I've started using Prezi.com to create presentations for course sessions and lectures. I'm finding that it's a fun, unique and effective alternative to static PowerPoint slides. And students seem to like it just as much as I do. Since the presentation is web-based, I just share the link at the beginning of class, and they can follow along on their computers if they want.
